Ivy Strategy is seeking an Analyst to support our rapidly expanding strategic consultancy business. We provide a new form of consultancy, using techniques from investigative journalism and specialized market research to discover facts in the marketplace and provide our clients with strategic analysis and advice based on those facts. Our clients are primarily FTSE 100 and Fortune 100 companies and major private equity firms. POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Job description includes (but is not limited to) the following:

  • Conduct open source research (OSINT) to support project objectives.
  • Identify and extract essential information from records, reports, miscellaneous communications, project files and other sources to support research and analysis
  • Conduct statistical analysis of data and financial analysis of companies, investments, and markets.
  • Collate intelligence into spreadsheets, charts, timelines and other analytical tools
  • Validate intelligence, from colleagues in the marketplace, evaluating the reliability of sources and credibility of information
  • Apply highly developed inductive reasoning skills to support projective objectives
  • Participate in interviews and document Human Source Intelligence (HUMINT)
  • Prepare highly detailed reports and presentations
  • Collect, process and catalog evidence, maintaining chain of custody throughout
  • Use databases to assist in organizing intelligence, external resources, and inventory
  • Integrated scheduling based on project objectives, timelines, and resources
  • Initiate, establish, and maintain effective working relationships inside and outside the company

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • A qualified 1%er
  • Bachelor’s degree at an accredited academic institution or higher
  • 2+ years of analytical research and report writing experience
  • Demonstrate excellent report and presentation writing abilities (in English) including advanced use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • International travel required
  • This position requires fluency in English. Additional favorable languages are French, Spanish, German and Portuguese.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Primary responsibilities are as follows:
    • Identifying new sales leads to understand the needs of the client
    • Pitching our services to ensure value for the client
    • Maintaining fruitful relations with existing customers.
  • Learning the client’s needs, presenting Ivy Strategy’s ability to assist, eliciting proposals
  • Developing proposals in close collaboration with the Operations team assuring profitability
  • Presenting proposals, negotiating the terms of projects and ensuring payment procedures are in place.
  • Collaborating with Operations and other teams to ensure client relations are managed in a productive way throughout the project.
  • Ensuring that the successful completion of projects results in a very high likelihood of a further project.
  • Collaborating with other team members in a collaborative, learning style, working to develop your own skills and those of your colleagues.

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • A qualified 1%er
  • Bachelor’s degree at an accredited academic institution or higher
  • 5+ years of successful business development work in a consultancy environment. (Note: Candidate must be able to demonstrate their employment record and provide references.)
  • Numerate with great communication skills.
  • Excellent time management abilities and skills in prioritizing obligations.
  • Demonstrate excellent report and presentation writing abilities (in English) including advanced use of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Extensive international travel required
  • Must be based within the European Union and have legal residency

  • Project strategy and planning from the proposal stage to the final report
  • Integrated scheduling based on project objectives, timelines, resources and staffing
